I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice but could get noisy due to outside seating. The service was fantastic, especially the breakfast waitress. The location was superb, close to the town and great for walking. The dining options were decent, but the timing was not ideal for me.

5.6/10
The hotel room was a complete disaster. It was tiny, window blocked the view with bins and a portacabin, staff were unprofessional smoking above the kitchen, and maneuvering around the bed was a challenge. Felt completely ignored and frustrated by the whole experience.
Rooms
5.0
The room was a nightmare. It was extremely small, had a terrible view of bins and a portacabin due to a covered window, and the staff seemed unprofessional smoking above the kitchen area. Manoeuvring around the bed was also difficult.
Service
5.0
The service was a mix of good and disappointing. After a stressful event, the staff was quick to resolve it, but seemed more focused on bar patrons rather than hotel guests.
Location
6.0
The location was convenient for driving around Inverness and walking to the Eastgate shopping center. However, the hotel had an off feel being 5 minutes from the shopping center.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was below average. Breakfast had an additional charge, and although the food quality was good, it felt overpriced for what was offered.

8.2/10
My stay was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were a decent size and had everything we needed for our one night stay. They were lovely with lots of nice touches and appeared to be recently renovated. However, the double room was extremely small. On the upside, there was plenty of hot water for a shower, and the location, although in a quiet residential area, was within walking distance to the city center.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms were a mix of lovely and small, but had all the essentials. Plenty of hot water and good location.
Service
9.0
The service was exceptional, with friendly and welcoming staff. They were always helpful and went above and beyond to assist guests.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from the town center. Although parking was on the street and a bit cramped, the proximity to the center made up for it.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was outstanding, offering a great selection of dishes beyond the traditional Scottish fry-up. However, the breakfast service started late compared to other hotels.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were good overall, with no specific comments made.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The location was convenient, being just a 5-minute walk to the center of Inverness, but prepare for a little uphill walk. The full Scottish breakfast was delightful, but I did wish for more scrambled eggs. The hotel facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable.
